Shanghai Orchestra
Monday, February 13th at 7:30PM at the Lied Center

Led by conductor Wang Fujian, the Shanghai orchestra has played a vital role in conserving and sustaining Chinese folk music. The ensemble performs significant works from its homeland on traditional Chinese percussion, wind and plucked-string instruments. Praised for its distinctive style and superb performances, the ensemble celebrates China¡¯s significant history with a broad repertoire that features folk orchestra, national and Cantonese music. Tickets are also on sale now for the performance on February 13th. The Lied Center is offering an exclusive China Festival offer for adult tickets regularly priced $28 and children tickets priced $10.
