'Doing Business in China' Seminar

In partnership with the International Relations Council, the Kansas City Chinese Association cordially invites you to attend the seminar 'Doing Business in China.' Senior advisors from the US-China Business Council will lead discussion for area businesses.

Event: Join the IRC for a discussion with Erin Ennis, Vice President of the US-China
Julie Walton, the USCBS' Chief Representative in Shanghai, will explore the nuances and key considerations that you need to know when doing business in China.

Beginning at 7:00 p.m., Ennis and Walton will discuss the USCBC's mission - which is to expand the US-China commercial relationship to the benefit of its membership and, more broadly, the US economy - and will foster conversation about engaging with China to eliminate trade and investment barriers and develop a rules-based commercial environment that is predictable and transparent to all parties.

The USCBS is a private, non-partisan, non-profit organization of roughly 240 American companies that do business in China. Founded in 1973, it provides unmatched information, advisory, advocacy, and program services to its membership.

The cost to attend is $15 for IRC and KCCA members (online registration in advance is needed) and $20 for non-members (walk in).
