Host Families Needed In KC Area

The Council on International Exchange (CIEE) is looking for host families in the Kansas City area for the 2011-12 school year. CIEE was founded in 1947 and is currently the world leader in foreign exchange, placing over 1,300 students annually from 55 countries. As a CIEE host family, you will give a young exchange student the opportunity to discover America through your eyes, as well as open a window to a different culture in your home.

Host families need only to provide a bed, meals, and a loving, welcoming environment; students provide their own spending money and insurance. For more information on how you can provide an educational dream for a young person, and globalize your home and community, please contact Local Coordinator Laura Maxon at laura@themaxons.com, or 816.868.1398. She will be happy to answer any questions and talk about the program and fantastic students waiting to be placed! You may also visit its website at www.ciee.org/highschool.
